 Karoul Talaba is an artist living and painting in a small fishing village in Mexico. Her art is emotionally raw depicting the everyday struggles and routine life in her pueblo.

Inspired by the faces and expressions of the people around her, she paints stories of the changing times.

Using acrylics and collage she makes  colour  an important element of her work. There is an innocence and a humour to her renditions.

Karoul has had exhibits in Mexico and sells her work in Mexico City, Toronto and New York .
